‘Moonshine in the Trunk,’ the upcoming 11th studio album from Paisley, is set for release on Aug. 26.


Garth Brooks has announced the first southern date of his upcoming comeback tour. The superstar will perform at the Philips Arena in Atlanta, Ga. on Friday, Sept. 19.
Tickets for the Atlanta show will go on sale at 10AM ET on Friday, Aug. 8 via Ticketmaster, by calling 1-800-745-3000 or Ticketmaster Express at 1-866-448-7849. Tickets will cost $56.94 plus $4.56 tax, a $4.00 facility fee and a $6.00 service charge, totaling $71.50. There will be no ticket sales at the venue box office or Ticketmaster outlets on Aug. 8.



The Academy of Country Music has announced a few of the recipients for the upcoming eighth annual ACM Honors awards show.

Dean Dillon, Toby Keith, Kris Kristofferson, Ronnie Milsap, Carrie Underwood and Rascal Flatts will be some of the honorees at the Sept. 8 show, which will take place at Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium.

Jack Clement, Buck Owens and Bob Beckham will also be honored posthumously, and Shane McAnally will receive the award for Songwriter of the Year.

Trace Adkins will travel to Boston’s Fenway Park on Aug. 2 to perform the national anthem opening the Red Sox vs. Yankees, the second of a three-game series, which will be broadcast nationally on FOX.


Brantley Gilbert performed at the Brickyard 400 last weekend. Label mate and friend Justin Moore jumped out on stage to sing along on their current hit “Small Town Throwdown”. Thomas Rhett, who also sings on the tune, wasn’t able to be there.
