February 7.2014 – Remain Strong Author Unknown

When the chips are down and life throws one of its curveballs at you read some quotes about being strong and take the situation by the horns!

As the saying goes: ‘If it doesn’t kill you it only makes you stronger’. This is certainly true when you think back to all those situations and crises you have been through in your life which you didn’t think you would pull through but did. As a matter of fact, it is often these very experiences we live through that actually make us stronger, more patient and better people.

Human beings are very resilient and can withstand great physical, emotional and mental pressure.

Dealing with adversity is par for the course in everyday life. Whether it be difficult family situations, a crisis at work or a bereavement of someone close to you there are times when everyone needs to ‘step up’ and deal with the challenge at hand. One of the best ways to do this is to remain strong, steadfast in your conviction that everything will, eventually, work out for the best.

Helen Keller once said, “Character cannot be developed in ease and quiet. Only through experience of trial and suffering can the soul be strengthened, vision cleared, ambition inspired, and success achieved.”
