April 29.2013 – The Hug By Robert C. Perdue

Hear today’s warm and fuzzy here!
WF 042913 The Hug

It’s wonderful what a hug can do,
A hug can cheer you when you’re blue
A hug can say, I love you
so’or’ Gee I hate to see you go

A hug is ‘Welcome back again’
and Great to see you or
Where have you been?

A hug can smoothe a small child’s pain
and bring a rainbow after rain
The Hug!
There’s just no doubt about it,
We scarcely can survive without it.
A hug delights and warms and charms,
It must be why God gave us arms!
Written by Robert C. Perdue
Today’s warm and fuzzy is dedicated to the writer, Robert Perdue. Over the past year he became like a father and a grandfather to me. He and his wife Prudia were sweet enough to “adopt” me in to their family. Robert, or Bob as I knew him, passed away early Friday morning.
I will miss his smile, his hugs and his mischievous giggle. Yes, he giggled and it was cute.
I loved hearing his stories and would sit attentively in the chair beside him each week and listen. My life has truly been touched and changed in a good way because Bob came in to my life and heart.
With my love to Prudia Perdue and the entire family,
Robynn
