May 20.2013 – In This Life

I get asked a lot, where I come up with the daily Warm and Fuzzies! Well, I read…A LOT! I search everywhere for articles in magazines or online, anecdotes from sermons or speeches, and many, many books.

It’s sort of like a treasure hunt for me to find stories that I haven’t shared yet. After all, I’ve been reading the Warm and Fuzzy on Star Country since 2004 now.

It all started when listeners would forward emails with poignant stories. It was Brett’s idea that I start reading these inspirational stories on the air. And it has taken off from there.

I try to find stories that touch my life and then I hope it has the ripple effect, or butterfly effect from there.
I have had some favorites over the years but it seems lately I have had a lot more favorites! Maybe it has to do with where I am in life. I loved “Fall” on May 9th, May 14th’s “Dare To Be” and November 13.2012 “I Will Never Give Up.”

It is always cool for me when someone comes up to tell me how a specific warm and fuzzy touched their heart. That’s my goal after all. Just my small way of making a difference, I hope.

So, I hope you enjoy today’s warm and fuzzy and the one before that and the one after that! I hope that somewhere along the way you hear just the right words at the precise moment you need to hear them.

Here’s to your life.
