March 19.2014 – Smile

Tomorrow is United Nations International Day of Happiness! It’s a campaign designed to inspire people to make the world
a happier place by intentionally engaging in small acts to share and spread happiness.

Roanoke, VA has been selected as one of only 30 cities world wide that will be participating! Please help me
support this totally positive and fun event?

Plan to stop by Tanglewood Mall between 9 a.m. – 6 p.m. tomorrow and visit the Happiness Wall. Post it notes will be
provided and all you do is pledge your #HappyActs.

Or you can log on to www.actsofhappiness.org and post your Acts of Happiness on a virtual wall.

You can also share your Acts of Happiness on your social media, Facebook, Twitter or Instagram with the #HappyActs.

Research demonstrates the positive impact happiness has on life. Positive emotions have positive effects on health,
longevity, personal relationships, creativity and work satisfaction. Happy people tend to be more successful, live longer
and have better connections with family and friends.

It’s as simple as a hug. A kind word. Helping a neighbor. Holding a door. Acts of Happiness are small things—with a big impact.

I look forward to see what you come up with! Here’s to random acts of happy!
