March 10.2014 – Life Ain’t Always Beautiful!

Do you have this problem? I suffer from Day-light-savings-time-itus! My body and my brain know that is not the time the
clock says it is!

It’s this Spring time change that jacks with me the most. Loosing that hour messes with my head so much so that I actually
go in to denial about the time change.

Saturday night I did Not push my clock forward! So when my alarm went off for church on Sunday morning, imagine my initial
confusion starring at the clock and then back at my phone ( I use the alarm on my phone) and then back and forth again until
I went, “ohhhh, yeah. That.”

And I know it’s not all in my head. I can actually feel the earth rotate on it’s axis and I stumble and stagger because
I am out of sync. Okay, not really but it sure feels like it.

Admittedly it used to be worse when I worked the morning show. Getting up at 4:30 a.m. after this time change was just
down-right ugly! So in reality, I should be thankful that I sleep past that hour now!

But for the record, if anyone in charge is listening, I don’t like the spring forward time thingy. It pains me! How about you?

If you have a magic solution that helps you make the transition, leave me a comment. Otherwise,
I remain grumpily your’s, (it’s a new word I’ve just made up!)
