June 11.2013 – I Got My Toes In The Sand

You could win this good looking chair and have your toes in the sand too! I am working with the Parrottheads of the Blue Ridge as they raffle off this chair, with the proceeds going to the American Cancer Society.

This Friday night Roanoke’s Relay For Life will be taking place at the Riverside Complex and I am inviting you to stop by tent #226 to purchase your raffle ticket and help support the American Cancer Society at the same time.

The fight back against cancer is obviously a cause that is near to me, although I don’t want to say “dear” to me. Cancer has taken the lives of the two people that have loved me more than anything in this world, my mom and daddy. I cannot stand by complacently and allow this disease to continue taking lives, so I do what I can. In this instance it is participating in the Roanoke Relay For Life (Salem Relay for Life will also be taking place at the Salem High School track at the same time Friday night)

If you would like to make a donation to my efforts, click on this link and you can make a tax-deductible gift to the Cancer Society. I appreciate your support and encouragement as I continue to recover from the loss of my beloved “Mama Jaymes.”
