Gotta Get Out and About! – March28.2011

Brett and I want to say a big “Thanks Y’all!” for the votes and recognition in the Lynchburg Living “Best of 2010” contest.  The January/February 2011 edition mentioned us in the “Best Radio DJ” category.

 And our congratulations to our friends Danny, Zack and Monica at our sister station K-92 for winning first place.

 I am excited about all the cool stuff coming through our area with the arrival of warmer weather! Below are just a few things you might want to check out with me!

2011 Greater Roanoke Race for the Cure.  Saturday, April 9 – Green Hill Park.To learn more or register click here. It is a really big deal for Roanoke to host a Race For the Cure, so I sure hope you will support this amazing breast cancer awareness event.

The Vinton Dogwood Festival is the end of April and there will be plenty of good music to check out along with all the other events! Don’t miss my buddies 7 Mile Ford on Wednesday, April 27th. 

Chuck Wicks makes his return to the area on April 29th, !playing the Dogwood Festival at 9pm. And it’s Rutledge opening for Steve Holy on Saturday, April 30th! They have a pretty exciting line up, so don’t miss the Festival! Get more info at  vintondogwoodfestival.org 

May 4th it’s the Zac Brown Band at the Salem Football stadium! This Grammy award winning band is simply amazing in concert!
