October marks the return of Fall and Breast Cancer Awareness month! During the month there will be many Breast Cancer events, and I will try to list just a few of them here. You will see the pink ribbon EVERYWHERE!
And this year, when you see the ribbon, I’d like to encourage you to not just acknowledge that is represents breast cancer awareness, but that you will take action as well. If you are a woman at the incredible age of 40 or older, please get your mammogram scheduled! And if you have an amazing lady in your life, your grandmom, mom, sister, aunt, cousin, best friend, please nag them to get their mammogram!
1 in 8 women will be diagnosed with breast cancer in America this year. The good news is, when caught early, breast cancer can be treated and cured! It’s time to take action and get those mammograms!
Hope to see you out supporting some of these events!
