Sugarland’s long-awaited album “The Incredible Machine” is finally slated for release this fall. The duo has been hitting the tour circuit hard this summer, but still wants to make sure fans have new music so they’re also releasing the first single off the album July 26th. The track, tited “Stuck Like Glue”.

Gloriana Long Hot Summer Tour 2010 includes a stop this summer at the New River Valley Fair in Dublin on July 21st.
Trace Adkins‘ new album, Cowboy’s Back in Town, will be released on Aug. 17, one week earlier than previously announced.

Jimmy Wayne is nearing the end of his Meet Me Halfway Walk, a 1,700-mile trek on foot to benefit at-risk teens who
age out of the foster care system only to become homeless. Wayne developed the idea for Meet Me Halfway in December
2009 while adjusting the thermostat in his own home. He decided to do something for those unable to stay warm so easily.
Within days, Wayne announced that he would travel from Nashville to Phoenix. He is now 60 miles from the Arizona state line.
Upon the completion of his journey, Wayne plans to keep his project alive by starting a foundation. He also plans to walk through
one state every January to continue raising awareness for at-risk teens.
The label homes of Taylor Swift, Reba McEntire and other artists have partnered with ScatterTunes to release V-Albums of their
artists. Big Machine Records, along with its sister label, The Valory Music Co., will use V-Albums to offer an innovative approach to
the traditional album.V-Albums provide enhanced content such as photos, lyrics, digital booklets, videos, artist merchandise and links
to the artist’s website and social media networks. “To buy the full album, including full-length album tracks, the price goes up a couple
of dollars. However, if you already own the MP3 tracks, you can buy the enhanced V-Album for just $3,” Sarah Wyland, of GAC, said.
GULF SHORES, Ala. — With the chance that surge churned up by Tropical Storm Alex could undermine the large surfside stage that was to host Jimmy Buffett and a cast of guest stars on Thursday evening, local officials and the musicians have rescheduled the show for July 11. “For everyone who has a current reservation, we will make every effort possible to get their reservations moved for the new date,” said Kaiser’s Emily Gonzalez. “If they were traveling in for this weekend and can’t make it for the rescheduled concert, then we will give them a complete refund.”
