The ACM Awards are a month away, and People has announced some of the scheduled performers. Nominees Jason Aldean, Luke Bryan, Miranda Lambert, Blake Shelton, George Strait, Keith Urban and The Band Perry will be among the performers. The ACM Awards will be broadcast LIVE from the MGM Grand Garden Arena in Las Vegas on Sunday, April 6th at 8:00 PM live on CBS.
Eric Church will tape his debut performance for “Austin City Limits” on Sept. 23rd as part of the ground-breaking music program’s 40th anniversary season.
With his seventh studio album RISER, Dierks Bentley has earned the number one position on the Billboard Country Albums chart this week. Riser also marks his fifth career debut in the top spot on the country charts.
Taylor Swift has been issued a restraining order against Timothy Sweet, who claims to be the country singer’s husband. According to TMZ, Timothy has contacted Taylor numerous times, threatening harm against anyone who stands in the way of his love for Taylor Swift.

Chris Young is packing his bags for another hop across the pond in March to perform back-to-back dates at the C2C Festival. On March 15 he’ll take the stage in Dublin, Ireland then travel to London, England on March 16 for the closing date of the festival. The 28-year old will then join Braid Paisley as the “Beat This Winter” Tour hits international turf for shows in Stavanger Norway (3/19), Oslo, Norway (3/22), Gotteborg, Sweden (3/23) and Stockholm, Sweden (3/25) before heading home at the end of the month.
Dan + Shay’s highly anticipated album, Where It All Began, will officially release their debut album April 1st on Warner Bros. Records. Celebrating with performances on Good Morning America, appearing on the day of release Tuesday, April 1st and on The Ellen DeGeneres Show, appearing Friday, April 4th, the week culminates with The 49th Annual ACM Awards where Dan + Shay are up for their first ever nomination for “Vocal Duo of the Year.”
