Miranda Lambert has been everywhere this week promoting the release of her new album “Platinum” available now.
One of the coolest spots to find her is on the cover of the first ever, country issue of Rolling Stone Magazine.
Music legend Lionel Richie tells Rolling Stone Country he’s plotting a follow-up to his best-selling “Tuskegee” album. Lionel Richie’s 2012 Tuskegee album, featuring duets of his hits sung with some of today’s biggest country stars (Blake Shelton, Shania Twain, Kenny Chesney, Willie Nelson), was the fourth biggest-selling country album of that year, with more than a million copies sold. “It’s coming” he said.

It’s the end of the concert trail for country music king George Strait, who will wrap up his final tour tonight (6/7/13) with a star-filled show at the home of the Dallas Cowboys in his home state of Texas. The show brings an end to nearly 40 years on the road for Strait, which started in 1975 with the Ace in the Hole Band. And he plans to do it in style, inviting several of country’s biggest stars, including Miranda Lambert, Jason Aldean and Eric Church.
