According to Jake’s site, he will be playing the Roaonke Civic Center October 3.2014!

Jennifer Nettles has written a song called “Know You Wanna Know” — and says it’s inspired by the “love-hate relationship” she has with “our culture’s obsession with celebrity and social media.” She admits to the Associated Press that these days fans now demand an “immediacy of access” that wasn’t available before. She says while she is “very open as an artist” and exposes herself to fans through her art, she is also “a very private person.” And for Nettles, that means she isn’t “super interested in sharing everything” — because she considers some things personal and “sacred.”
Last month Wynonna Judd had admitted to placing a tracking device on a car owned by her sister, Ashley Judd, and how it was Ashley who had pointed police in the direction of her sister due to an apparent ongoing custody dispute.
Well now a new report from the National Enquirer (for what it’s worth!) says that the Judd Sisters aren’t just fighting for custody, Ashley’s actually already won.
According to article, Wynonna lost custody temporarily of her 17-year-old daughter, Grace, to Ashley after the country star and her daughter had clashed for years and the teen went to Ashley for help. Now Wynonna is angry at her sister for taking her daughter’s side.

Brad Paisley’s Beat This Winter Tour begins this weekend with shows in Kentucky. The tour continues through the beginning of March.
Special guests on the tour are Chris Young, Danielle Bradbery and recently added Dee Jay Silver, the first country DJ to be signed to a major Nashville label. Silver will do between-show sets featuring his country/rock music mixing.

With scans of 84,000 units in the most recent tracking week upping its overall sum to 6.33 million downloads, the duo’s hit is now the biggest-selling digital country song since SoundScan began tracking digital sales in 2003. It passes Lady Antebellum’s “Need You Now” which now sits in second place with 6.27 million downloads.
