Parmalee will celebrate the new year with a performance of its recently GOLD certified, multi-week #1 smash “Carolina” on CBS’ newest syndicated daytime talk show, The Queen Latifah Show this Tuesday, Jan. 7.
The country foursome is set to make a very special appearance in its home state of North Carolina this Sunday, Jan. 12 when it performs two songs from its critically acclaimed album just prior to kickoff at 1:05 p.m. EST at the Carolina Panthers’ NFC Divisional Playoff game at Bank of America Stadium in Charlotte, NC.

Grammy award-winning artist and Country music hitmaker Travis Tritt will return to the Music City to host two special acoustic concerts, Travis Tritt & Friends, at the historic Franklin Theatre on Jan. 13 and 14 in Franklin, Tenn. The appearance marks Tritt’s first Nashville-based concert since 2002 and his first ever all-acoustic performance in Nashville. As a member of the famed “Class of ‘89” in Country music, these very special shows will kick-off the 25th anniversary of Travis’ career.
On Thursday, the small town on Milligan, Nebraska were baffled when free Pepsi products started showing up in the town.
On Saturday morning Pepsi announced that Lee Brice was going to be performing for a Pepsi Super Bowl commercial. The town which usually averages 200 people in population grew to an estimate 5,000. Organizers chose Milligan because it’s the halfway point between Los Angeles and New York.
On January 5th there was a fiery plane crash at the Aspen, Colorado airport. The strange thing is there happened to be a couple of celebrities at the airport at the time, including LeAnn Rimes.
Comedian Kevin Nealon was the first celebrity to tweet about the accident saying: “Horrible plane crash here at Aspen airport. Exploded into flames as it was landing. I think it was a private jet.”
“Fire truck and ambulances were on the scene within minutes,” Nealon continued. “I don’t believe there are any survivors.”
LeAnn Rimes, who was also in the area, said: “So sad! Horrible plane crash we just saw happen at the Aspen airport.”

The show will tape on Monday, Jan. 27th, the day after the 56th Annual GRAMMY Awards®, and will be broadcast on CBS Sunday, Feb. 9th, at 8 p.m. ET/PT — exactly 50 years to the day, date, and time of the original event.
