Miranda Lambert will join Jason Aldean on his 2014 Burn It Down Tour, playing baseball stadiums. Lambert will open for Aldean in Cleveland on July 18, Cincinnati on July 19 and Pittsburgh on July 26.

ACM Award nominee’s Dan + Shay (Dan Smyers and Shay Mooney) are set to release their debut album April 1st on Warner Bros. Records. The yet to be titled release is written entirely by the pair, produced by Smyers and co-produced by Scott Hendricks and Nashville songwriter, Danny Orton.

The Grand Ole Opry is poised to celebrate 40 years of country music at its permanent home, the Grand Ole Opry House, beginning next month, with special events kicking off the weekend of March 15 and continuing throughout the year. The celebration will lead up to next year’s mark of 90 years since the Opry was founded on Nov. 28, 1925.

Among those scheduled to appear on two Opry House Anniversary performances March 15 are Academy of Country Music Entertainer of the Year nominees Blake Shelton and Miranda Lambert as well as Opry members Clint Black, Diamond Rio, and Josh Turner

Lady Antebellum‘s latest album, ‘Golden,’ is less than a year old, but the trio have revealed they are already starting work on the record’s follow-up.

“In the next couple of weeks, we’re going to start bringing songwriters out to start writing for the next project,” Hillary Scott tells the Hartford Courant. “I can’t tell you 100-percent where we’re going, because we’re still figuring it out. It’s exploration time. We’re going to take our time. We’re not going to rush. We’re just going to write and be very selective.”

Garth Brooks has sold out two more comeback shows, again just hours after tickets went on sale.

Brooks announced Monday (Feb. 3) that he was adding a fourth show to his Comeback Special concert series, which will take place at Croke Park in Dublin, Ireland in July. When tickets for that show sold out immediately Thursday morning (Feb. 6), promoters added a fifth date, which also quickly sold out. Brooks has now sold a total of 400,000 tickets to the five shows, which will run from July 25-29, 2014.
