One Republic and Dierks Bentley are the latest musicians to team up for CMT Crossroads. The one-hour special, which marks their first-ever collaboration, will premiere in mid-March on CMT.

Bentley will release a new album, Riser, on Feb. 25. It’s his first album since the death of his father and the birth of his first son. He is currently climbing the country airplay chart with “I Hold On,” which he co-wrote with Brett James. Bentley will kick off his headlining Riser tour on May 9 in Charlotte, N.C.

In addition, Bentley will introduce a new film this month about the personal inspirations behind Riser. A special edit of the film will air exclusively on CMT on Feb. 22 at 2 p.m. ET. Titled Dierks Bentley: Riser, the full-length film will air the same day on Palladia at 9 p.m. ET.
Blake Shelton has recruited country trio The Band Perry to serve as his Team Blake adviser on Season 6 of “The Voice,” according to E! News.
The Band Perry is helping a Kentucky family devastated by a house fire last week. Nine members of the Watson family died. The only survivors are the father and one daughter. The band’s reps contacted the family and offered to pay the burial expenses for the mother and eight kids. They’re also covering hotel expenses for family members staying near the hospital where the dad and daughter are being treated,
Taylor crazy fan

An over-excited “fan” ran onto the stage and surprised Taylor Swift at her concert in London on Saturday. She actually accepted a note from him before security showed up.
Lady Antebellum surprised Kacey Musgraves with a cake backstage after their show last week. It was in honor of her winning two Grammys. She won Best Album for “Same Trailer Different Park”, and for co-writing the song “Merry Go ‘Round”.
Cole Swindell has a pretty usual name, so you know he’s got some fun nicknames. He went by “Cole Slaw” as a first grader back home in Georgia and some friends call him Swindell, but Cole picked up his most bizarre nickname while selling t-shirts for Luke Bryan on the road. Cole says, “We were joking about my fan club being the ‘Colealicious Coalition.’ That somehow got moved to something else, and it finally just went to ‘Lish.’” Cole knows that nickname makes no sense, but he’s stuck with it now that he’s opening Luke’s That’s My Kind of Party tour. “I think Luke thanked me in the album as ‘Lish,’” Cole says. “So, it’s pretty fun. It doesn’t really have a meaning.” Cole’s self-titled debut album hits stores February 18.
Eric Paslay‘s much-anticipated self-titled debut album is available in stores and online now! The signer, who is celebrating his first No.1 as an artist and fourth No.1 as a songwriter this week with “Friday Night,” co-wrote each of the album’s 11 tracks.
Brantley Gilbert, Cassadee Pope, Florida Georgia Line ,Justin Moore, the Eli Young Band, LeAnn Rimes and several others who still haven’t been announced, will be contributing to an upcoming tribute album to Mötley Crüe.
